Sometimes removal of moles and warts is inevitable
Moles of different size are formed in the first year of life – they are deposits of melanocytes in the skin, whereas warts are a virus-induced skin disease, which can be attacked by transferred by contact with another person.
The large and clearly visible moles, warts and other benign skin tumours do not add beauty to the body, however, a person cannot choose these naturally occurring marks.
According to plastic surgeon Vytautas Jankūnas, depending on the chose method of removal of moles and warts, the tissue is treated with special equipment, which is friendly to the surrounding skin. In malignant melanomas, the skin tumours can be removed surgically.
The process of surgery (treatment) and the results
The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia. The duration is individual; it depends on the size of skin formations.

After the surgery
The procedure of mole and wart removal does not outbalance the normal rhythm of life. The skin heals quickly, preventing infections, but after some time, certain plastic surgeon’s recommendations have to followed:
- Avoid the sun for a certain time
- Certain medications will have to be used during healing
- The affected skin could briefly darken or brighten
- Minor swelling could occur
The result
Warts and moles disappear immediately after treatment; sometimes they are not removed completely, yet at least 80 percent are removed. The effect is long-term.
